As we approach Advent, we as a Parish would like to invite the Parishioners and their families to participate in the TRAVELLING NATIVITY.
This year the statue is of the Holy Family depicting the very Pregnant Mary on the donkey with her husband Joseph as they make their perilous journey to Bethlehem. Their journey is to be the focus of Our Advent Prayer. The statue is to travel from home to home. If you would like to be host to the statue for one day/night, then please sign on the board at the back of the church the date of your choice. One of our parishioners will be taking the names at Masses on the 8th and 15th November 2026 at 10:00 and 11:30 and Vigil Mass. There are 26 days to fill in.
We ask as a Parish to support our Travelling Nativity by getting involved and by getting together and praying together as a family. Even if you live alone, you can always invite family and neighbours to come and to participate in the prayers. Afterwards maybe they’ll stay for a mince pie and a cup of tea!
All instructions will be given.
