Tom Cooney, Oak Lodge, Ennis Road, Limerick and late Old Crescent R.F.C. and Lahinch, Co. Clare. February 28th 2026, peacefully in the excellent care of Nenagh General Hospital after a brief illness.

Beloved husband of Jennifer. Dearly loved father of Simon, Caroline and Chris. Tom will be very sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Maureen and Lorraine, his cherished grandchildren Aoibhe, Max, Luke, Matthew and baby Daniel, brother John, sisters Anne, Yvonne and Marianne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday 3rd March from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road for Requiem Mass on Wednesday 4th March at 11am followed by Cremation Service at Shannon Crematorium
