It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Desmond T. (Des) Quaid, Mayorstone Drive, Limerick and late of Des Quaid Car Sales

On July 22nd 2025, peacefully, after a brief illness, at his residence.

Pre-deceased by parents Thomas and Kathleen and brother Tommy.

Very deeply regretted by his son Adam, sisters Anne and Jacquie, sister-in-law Eilis, brother-in-law Gerry Garvey, nieces Catherine, Grace, Gillian and Beth, nephews Shane, Gordon and Graham, aunt Josie Ryan, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Thursday, July 24th, from 4.30pm to 6pm, followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road.

Requiem Mass Friday, July 25th, at 11am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
