Highfield, Ennis Road, Limerick City, Limerick / Ballinlough, Roscommon
Kathleen (Kay) O’ Farrell (née Winston), Highfield, Ennis Road, Limerick and formerly of Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon. 17th January 2026, peacefully after a short illness in the wonderful care of University Hospital Limerick.

Beloved wife of the late Michael. Dearly loved mother of Nicky, Paul, Noel and the late Catherine O’ Hagan.

Sadly missed by her loving daughters in-law Deirdre, Sharon and Kerry, son-in-law Eamonn, her cherished grandchildren Clodagh, Niall, Kathy, Peter, Saoirse, Mark, Cian, Sam and Isabel, brothers Paddy and Frank, sister-in-law Joan, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Martin, Michael and Fr. Noel and sister Mary.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday 20th January from 5.30pm to 7pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road on Wednesday 21st January for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery.

Aideen Jackson Horan (nee O’Sullivan) (Rochestown, Cork, and formerly of Lough Gur and Lansdowne Park, Limerick; Late of the Daughters of Charity Social Work Department, Lisnagry).

 

January 15th 2026 peacefully at University Hospital Cork.

 

Beloved wife of Ken, and much-loved mother of Cathy and Barry.

 

Predeceased by her first husband Raoul Peter Jackson. Cherished grandmother to Rowan and Tara. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Paul. Dearly loved sister of Mary Carroll and predeceased by her brother Conor O’Sullivan. Deeply loved by her six stepdaughters.

 

Sadly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, sister, stepdaughters, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, cousins, neighbours and her many friends.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Limerick on Sunday (18th January) from 2pm to 3.30pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road on Monday (19th January) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed burial in St. Nessan’s (Old Mungret) Cemetery.
