Thecla Hartmann née Deasy (Ennis Road, Limerick and Late of Hartmann Opticians). 16th October 2026, peacefully at St. Paul’s Nursing Home, surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of the late Paddy. Dearly loved mother of Gerard, Leonie (Buckley), Thecla (Roche) and Helga (Whelan).
Sadly missed by her loving daughter-in-law Diane, sons-in-law Peter, Bobby and David, brother Paddy, sister Berry, her cherished grandchildren John, Brian, David, Patrick, Michael, Issac, Siofra, Brian and Michelle, great grandchildren, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by her brothers Noel and Michael.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Monday 19th October from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 20th October at 11am with burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Margaret (Peggy) Duffy (nee Lane), October 15, 2026, Woodview Park, Limerick, formerly of Ballyart, Brittas, Co. Limerick.
Margaret passed away peacefully at St. John’s Hospital, Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved daughter of the late Ned and Bridget Lane (Ballyart, Brittas), and predeceased by her brothers Eddie, Jimmy, and Pakie, and her sisters Nora and Kathleen.
Margaret will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, her cherished husband Pat, her much loved and devoted daughters Caroline and Laura, and her adored granddaughters Lauren and Amy and Laura’s partner David. She is deeply regretted by her loving sisters Rebecca, Mary, Martha, and Ellen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, kind neighbours, and friends.

Margaret’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Olaverria, his team, and the staff on the first floor of St. John’s Hospital who provided her with dedicated care and kindness during her final days. A special word of thanks to her GP Dr. Ciarán Joyce and his team, Michelle, Siobhan, and Gillian at Thomond Park Clinic for their exceptional kindness and support over the years. Heartfelt thanks also to Brian Conway and his team at Woodview Pharmacy for all their help and support.

Joan will be sadly missed by her loving husband Jim, children Padraig, Seán and Sharon, her adored grandchildren Alex, Rosalyn, Senan, Maeve and Vicky, daughter-in-law Dorota, son-in-law Liam, her sister Helen, brother-in-law Jim, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Sunday, 18th October, from 3pm to 4.30pm, followed by Removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, 19th October at 11am. Burial will take place in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Castlemagner, Co. Cork (arriving approximately at 1.30pm).
