Austin Reid

Austin Reid (Sunville Court, North Circular Road, Limerick. Former Vice Principal St. Munchin’s College and past President Limerick Golf Club and St. Michael’s Rowing Club). 11th April 2026, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Beloved husband of Carmel. Dearly loved father of Louise (Giltinane), Gregory, Robert and Esther.

Austin will be very sadly missed by his loving sons-in-law John Giltinane and Adrian Martin daughter-in-law Shazieh, his cherished grandchildren Aisling, Chloe, Ozzy (Austin) and Lily, nephews, extended family and friends.

May he Rest in Peace

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Monday evening (13th April) from 7.30pm to 9pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road on Tuesday (14th April) for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Patricia Sadlier, Revington Park, North Circular Road, Limerick

On April 9th 2026, at home.

Pre-deceased by parents Michael and Mary.

Very deeply regretted by sisters Geraldine and Liz, nephews Sean, Ciaran, Laurence and Patrick, niece Fiona, cousins the O’Shea and Sadlier families, kind neighbours in particular the Buckley family, beloved pet Kearmit, kind carers in particular Sylvia in Carebright and friends.

Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, Tuesday, April 14th, at 6pm. Requiem Mass Wednesday, April 15th, at 12.30pm, Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (old) Cemetery.

Catherine Prendergast (née Hogan) Highfield, Ennis Road, Limerick.

April 8th 2026 peacefully at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin.

Darling wife of Eoghan. Adored mother of Eimhin, Anna and Grace. Sadly missed by her loving brothers Dermot and Edward, sisters-in-law Anne, Elaine, Orla and Aedin , brother-in-law Conor, nieces, nephews, extended family and a cherished wide circle of friends. Predeceased by her parents Patsy and Eddie and her sister Maura.

May she rest in peace.
