Services During Pandemic 2020

‹ back to previous page

Date/Time
Date(s) - 6 Oct 2020 until 27 Oct 2020
3:00 PM - 3:00 PM

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues at a serious level and the country enters a 3-week period at Level 3 of the National Framework for Living with Covid-19 from midnight on Tuesday 6th October 2020, it will not be possible to have a congregation in Church for regular Masses until at least Wednesday 27th October.

Exceptions are allowed for Weddings (up to 25 persons) and for Funerals (maximum 25).

Our priests will continue to offer Mass at the usual times but without a congregation in our Parish Church.  Each Mass will be streamed live on the webcam which may be accessed from the homepage of the parish website. We are so grateful to Fr. Mc Auliffe and to Fr. Ryan for continuing in this way and we hope that remote participation will be available to as many as possible of our parishioners and to others who may find us online and tune in at Mass times.

The Church will also be open for personal visits and private prayer from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, Monday to Saturday.  Please use the door by the Sacristy, use the hand sanitiser provided and observe the recommended social distance from other parishioners.

We regret that, since we must restrict our interactions with each other in these circumstances, we are still unable to resume the service of bringing Holy Communion to our housebound parishioners.  If you have family members, friends and neighbours, who are in this situation, please check that they are aware of our parish website and able to connect with our webcam.

God Bless and Stay Safe in these difficult times.
